1) Preamble
In the interest of clarity and fairness, these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the website Extentage (the “Site”) and all content, features, and services made available through it (collectively, the “Services”). By visiting or using the Site, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms as well as our Privacy Policy. If you do not accept any part of these Terms, you must refrain from using the Services.
2) Nature and Purpose of the Service
Extentage is an educational platform. We provide guides, explanations, and comparative notes on cross-border payment systems—such as Alipay and WeChat/Weixin Pay—with the singular aim of improving public understanding. We do not provide financial, legal, investment, or tax advice; the Site is not a bank, broker, or money service business.
3) Eligibility and Acceptance
Use of the Services is conditioned upon:
- (a) the legal capacity to form a binding contract;
- (b) lawful use consistent with these Terms and applicable law;
- (c) acceptance of all notices, policies, and disclaimers referenced herein.
Continuing to browse or interact with the Site constitutes your consent to these Terms.
4) Educational-Use Disclaimer (No Professional Advice)
All material is for information and education. Decisions involving money transmission, identity verification (KYC), anti-money-laundering (AML) compliance, or cross-border transfers must be verified with your payment provider and, where appropriate, a qualified professional. Extentage expressly disclaims responsibility for loss arising from reliance on the content.
5) Accounts and Access
Where features require an account or subscription, you must provide accurate information and maintain the confidentiality of your credentials. You accept responsibility for all activities conducted under your account and shall notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
6) Intellectual Property
- Ownership: All text, graphics, videos, layouts, and compilations on the Site are the intellectual property of Extentage or its licensors and are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and database laws.
- Limited License: Subject to these Terms, Extentage grants you a non-exclusive, revocable, non-transferable license to access and use the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes.
- Restrictions: You shall not copy, scrape, mirror, republish, sell, or exploit any content or code without prior written permission. Trademarks such as Alipay and WeChat/Weixin Pay belong to their respective owners and are used for descriptive, nominative purposes only.
7) User Submissions and Feedback
If you submit questions, comments, corrections, screenshots, or suggestions (“Submissions”), you grant Extentage a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, reproduce, adapt, and display such Submissions to operate, improve, or publicize the Services. You warrant that your Submissions do not infringe any third-party rights and contain no confidential or unlawful material.
8) Acceptable Use and Prohibited Conduct
To maintain integrity and public benefit, users shall not:
- (a) violate laws, regulations, sanctions, or export controls (including OFAC and analogous regimes);
- (b) attempt to circumvent KYC/AML rules or facilitate illicit transfers;
- (c) interfere with Site operation, security, or availability (e.g., malware, scraping, DDoS);
- (d) misrepresent identity, impersonate others, or harvest personal data;
- (e) reverse-engineer, decompile, or exploit the Site beyond the license granted.
9) Third-Party Links and References
The Site may reference third-party platforms, documents, or services. Such links are provided for convenience and do not constitute endorsement. Extentage bears no responsibility for the content, accuracy, or policies of third parties. Where affiliate links are used, we seek to disclose them transparently; our editorial conclusions remain independent.
10) Accuracy, Updates, and Temporal Limits
Payments ecosystems evolve. While Extentage endeavors to ensure accuracy, clarity, and recency, no representation or warranty is made that the content is complete, current, or free from error. We may add, revise, or withdraw content without notice and may suspend or modify features at our sole discretion.
11) Accessibility and Fair Use
Extentage aims to make information publicly accessible in clear, structured language. Reasonable accommodations may be considered where feasible. Nothing in these Terms guarantees uninterrupted access or any specific feature set.
12) Data Protection and Privacy
Use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and safeguard information. By using the Services, you consent to the practices described therein, including the use of cookies and analytics tools.
13) DMCA / Copyright Complaints (U.S.)

Upon receipt of a compliant notice, we may remove or disable access to the material and, where appropriate, notify the affected party.
14) Disclaimers of Warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” Extentage disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and accuracy. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
15) Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Extentage, its officers, employees, and contributors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, nor for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or opportunity, arising from or in connection with your use of the Services, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. In any event, our aggregate liability shall not exceed USD 100 or the amount you paid to use the Services in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim—whichever is lower.
16) Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Extentage and its affiliates from and against all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or in any way connected with:
- (a) your access to or use of the Services;
- (b) your Submissions;
- (c) your breach of these Terms or applicable law.
17) Suspension and Termination
Extentage may suspend or terminate access to the Services at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we reasonably believe violates these Terms or harms others. Upon termination, sections that by their nature should survive (e.g., Intellectual Property, Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, Governing Law) shall do so.
18) Governing Law and Forum
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Subject to Section 19 (Dispute Resolution), the courts located in New York County, New York shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any proceedings arising from these Terms.
19) Dispute Resolution (Good-Faith; Then Arbitration or Court)
- Good-Faith Resolution: Parties shall first attempt to resolve disputes informally in good faith within 30 days of written notice.
- Arbitration or Court: If unresolved, the dispute may be brought in the courts identified in Section 18 or, by mutual consent, submitted to binding arbitration in New York under commercially reasonable rules. Nothing prevents either party from seeking injunctive relief to protect intellectual property or data security.
20) Export Controls and Sanctions Compliance
You represent that you are not located in, under the control of, or a national/resident of any country or entity subject to U.S. embargoes or sanctions and that you will not use the Services in violation of export control laws.
21) Force Majeure

23) Severability and Waiver
If any provision is found unenforceable, it shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to render it enforceable, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force. No waiver of any term shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver of such term or any other term.
24) Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any notices or policies incorporated by reference, constitute the entire agreement between you and Extentage regarding the Services and supersede all prior or contemporaneous understandings.
